Iberian Lynx Conservation
The elusive and critically endangered Iberian lynx, an iconic species on a global scale, whose population is estimated at around 280 adults (2019). The Iberian lynx is under enormous threat from extinction from a variety of reasons including, forest fires, depleted rabbit populations, global warming, interference by man and the withdrawal of EU funding in 2017 have all taken and continue to take their toll.
